KDS were appointed to redevelop and obtain planning permission for the conversion of the 1960’s Brown and Root Tower from offices to PRS accommodation.
The scheme was technically challenging, as the external concrete facade supported the floor slabs and the client required full height windows to be cut into the facade to take advantage of the spectacular surrounding views.
The facades were modified and adapted for overcladding with glass curtain walling. KDS completed the detailed design as novated architect to JJ Rhatigan & Company.
