Biography

Ian has over thirty years experience in Commercial and Residential Architecture. Prior to forming KDS & Associates Ltd (KDS) in 1993 with Ken Smith, Ian worked for EPR Design and Fitzroy Robinson at Associate Level, project managing large multi-million pound projects including The Trocadero, Barkers of Kensington and Little Britain.

Ian Crowhurst was appointed Managing Director of KDS in 2004 and has developed the practice into a highly respected technical based company, able to assist both clients and contractors to develop their schemes and deliver them successfully on site. 

Ian maintains a strong ethos in building client relationships, which has successfully led to long term, repeat order business with many major client bodies. Ian has a keen eye for exploring best solutions for client benefit and this approach runs through the core of their entire practice, generating an ongoing, expanding portfolio of work. 

Ian maintains an active role in overseeing the running of the projects in the office and participates in the early stages of the development of schemes. 

Ian has a hands on approach to managing the practice and is personally involved in the development of schemes from the outset.
